« Tillbaka till föregående sida Jubilee year 1809: Open doors at State Treasury on October 2nd (29.9.2009)The years 1808 and 1809 mark important events in the history of the state of Finland: The Finnish war between Sweden and Russia was fought, the Diet of Finland assembled in the town of Porvoo, the Treaty of Hamina was signed, the autonomous Finland, the Grand Duchy of Finland, was established. These events took place against the international background of the Napoleonic Wars and the ensuing Treaties of Tilsit, signed year 1807, and Erfurt, signed year 1808. The jubilee year is celebrated at State Treasury at the same time as 200 years has gone since Finland`s State administration was established. State Treasury has open doors on October 2nd from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the address Sörnäisten rantatie 13, Helsinki. The event is open for citizens and therefore presentations on services given to personal customers are held in the meeting center of State Treasury premises at Sörnäinen.
