Agricultural credits

Agricultural credits is a collective term for loans granted for the development of the agricultural and forestry businesses and living conditions in agricultural areas.

Agricultural credits include Skolt loans, forest improvement loans, basic drainage loans, redistribution loans, land improvement loans and purchase price receivables. New land improvement loans and purchase price receivables will no longer be granted.

Skolt loans and basic drainage loans are granted by Centres for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment, forest improvement loans from the Finnish Forestry Centre, and redistribution loans from the National Land Survey of Finland.

The State Treasury bears the responsibility for the invoicing of loans and purchase price receivables and other tasks related to loan management.
